OK - this is a bit off topic but it is happening so I'll report it here,
as a heads up.
This is using an ODB file first created in Nov 05 - whatever release
that was?
A Master/Sub form, the sub-forum has a table grid control. The grid uses
drop down list boxes in two columns.
Everything is fine when the form first opens and there is data in the
sub-form.
Move to a record with zero records in the sub form and then back again
to the previous record and the grid no longer displays the lookup data,
rather the ID field values - although if you pull down the list boxes
the lists are still correct.

This does not happen with 2.3.1 and I will try later with one of the
normal developer builds for the 2.4 cycle if it continues to act this
way there I will open an issue then.
But first to add a button to that form and print a invoice report for
that single record .... ;>)
