OH - you are talking about the Create Table Wizard aren't you. Hmmm,
that sounds to me like it should be a bug report. When you are in the
wizard are the accented characters displayed there and then lost when
the actual table definition is created?
It is not a bug, It's based on a good practice, OOo could be used on
different systems(win, linux), with different coding system, using,
Latin-2,Central European, Windows-1250 or UTF-8 where accented
characters have different cods. If you create database table with
accented table name or field names, under one coding, disrupt whole
database on another, as I understand well.
Wizards use strings for that reason only letters without accents.
