Sometime this weekend I'll put up the screen shots and some text about doing this specifically for Kexi under Kubuntu, in a separate topic at the forum. If anyone does want to update the wiki page on SQLite and you want to use any of that please just take it and use it as you see fit.

Well, I never put up those screen shots - ah but not just because I forgot. It was just that I came across an error - copy table wizard, opened an issue.

The other error ( oddity ? ) is that if you create a table in the Kexi database from Base then the table is not available in Kexi - it is there no doubt about it, but Kexi just doesn't see it.

I would guess it has something to do with the almost scheme support SQLite 3 must have going, or maybe it is a Kexi extension. I don't know. For example when you open the Base file you are shown a cuople of tables in the database that are not seen when in Kexi. This is very much like MS Access in Base where you see the system tables - as far as I can tell these tables even fill much of the same purposes - storing information about queries and forms, data column and FK relations.

So it seems that however this split in table type is handled the tables added from base are lumped in with the "system" tables.

I don't suppose anyone knows anything specific about this with SQLite 3 or Kexi?

Thanks

Drew
