Yes the data is saved when the file is saved - I have tested that all
kind of ways and short of trashing the actual file the data is in there.
Also - one trick ( kind of) even thought he file save menu does become
active when only data has been changed the file save as is always active
and if one just saved the file right over top of itself it gets the data
to disk. At least on XP this seems to cause no problem with Base - so if
a lot of edits have taken place you can always force the write this way.
