Hi *,
reading at http://www.openoffice.org/product/base.html
the "Technical footnotes" at the end, IMO are quite confusing:
"BASE includes a full version of the HSQL database engine, storing data
in XML files."
may not give this the wrong idea that OOo Base, thanks to HSQL, can
store data in XML format?
John McCreesh offered to replace the site with a version I would provide
to him, since the current version has not been updated for years.
As Andrew rightfully pointed out multiple times, marketing is not my,
ehm, most visible competence :), so if anybody here feels pushed enough
to write a new page, I'd be willing to forward it.
Else, I just ask for removing the senseless XML sentence. (No, Andrew, I
won't go to our head honcho instead *g*)
Ciao

Hi,
I've put together (mostly) a proposal for a new page - I suppose the
easiest way is to put it up as a page on the wiki for others to edit,
and please do just that.
One question : is there a limit of one screen shot for that page?
Anyway - that wiki page will have to wait - off to see the accountant,
and for those other list members in the USA - you know what today
is...arrrrgh
