Hi all,
while testing other issue[1], I realized that the string for status bar
controls corresponding to the commands .uno:DBStatusType and
.uno:DBStatusDBName are the same in the case of HSQLDB embedded: "HSQL
database engine", in English. Same thing happens in the Spanish
translation (although as this translation is a crap, here we have also
the issue that the first letter is not a capital one: "motor de bases de
datos HSQL") and I guess in other languages too.
In 2.3.1 we had two different strings:
.uno:DBStatusType Embedded database
.uno:DBStatusDBName HSQL database engine
Since 2.4.0 (and seen also on 3.0 DEV300_m10 - at least on my own
build), the strings are the same. IMO is a non-sense to have the same
string (although who really pays attention to status bars?!)
Shall I file an issue for this?
Another issue (or RFE) is that the DatasourceBrowser has no status bar
at all when it is a top window containing a table/view/query, neither
does the Relation/Query Design. Shouldn't these top windows have a
status bar to stay in tune with "all" [mmm... didn't really test them
all, IIRC the Help Viewer has no status bar] other application top
windows in OOo?
Shall I file an issue for this, too?
Regards
Ariel.
