I decided to bite the bullet and go ahead and order this book since my
project is pretty much stalled at this point. Apparently, the book is

No, although you are second person to mention a problem with finding
it at LULU in the last few days..
I have sent an email off to the author..when I hear something I'll
pass it along.
I scanned the 53 entries that were returned by an "openoffice" search,
and got only 1 beginner/general book that referenced base. Thought I
would save everyone the effort.
