If you're as new to Base as you wrote, then in fact asking in the list
(after asking Google :) is in fact a good idea to prevent issue
submissions.
However, be prepared to (sometimes) being asked finally to submit
issues
in IssueZilla (it's not as frightening as it looks at first glance :).
The reasoning is that this is finally the only way to ensure your
issue
doesn't get lost (in the sense of: "is logged", not in the sense of
"will be fixed within the next X weeks/months").
