Hi,
I just came across Kay Ramme's project of using OOo as a dynamic
editor for web-pages. Kay Ramme names writer, calc, impress and draw
as programs the output of which should be displayable in web-pages
directly (just by pressing the save button). He doesn't mention Base
and I assume this is because a Base-file doesn't directly display
data. But queries, tables, and more interestingly so forms and reports
do. Forms with a potentially rich functionality for querying data
flexibly and *interactively*. So I guess I am curious whether there is
hope that Base - or some other OOo module - could become, or could be
made to be used as a generator for pages displaying data that allow
for a) rich formatting b) user-interaction?
Best
Rainer
