Didn't try with 2.4.1, but with 3.0 and 1.0.5 final - could not reproduce the problem? Do you mind re-trying with 3.0 and 1.0.5 final, too? If the problem persists, it might have to do with the kind of report/grouping you use. In this case, please submit an issue in IssueZilla, and if possible, attach a sample document.
