I take you are referring to a need to access the data in an embedded ODB
database via some program external to OpenOffice.org, yes?
If so then the simple answer is that this is not directly supported at
this time.
This means that given such a requirement you would need your database
using a server based ( could be HSQLdb in file mode actually ) engine
rather then embedded in the ODB. In this scenario both your Base front
end and your external application could use the same connection
technique for the actual datastore.
