Using the newer build 1.0.9.9991 -
There is a difference in behavior between the autopilot in Calc and SRB
now with regards to how it handles existing data when you open the
autopilot.
In Calc if you have a value in a cell and then open the autopilot the
value is not placed in the Formula display (bottom right of dialog )
so: a cell with the value 34, highlight the cell and open the Forumula
Wizard, the Formula display "= "
There is no highlighting of anything at this moment
In SRB however it is the opposite. Say I have a table with a column
named "txt".
On the report is a text box with a 'Data Field' property, selected from
the the drop down list, of txt. (note no brackets here)
Now in the property editor I bring up the Formula Wizard, in the Formula
display is "= txt"
The equal sign is highlighted.
In the Functions list double click "Left"
The Formula display is now "=LEFT( )txt"
Let's go back to Calc again.
In Calc if there is already a formula in a cell and the Formula Wizard
is opened, the wizard displays the Structure not the list for forumla.
In SRB the opposite.
I think the Calc way is better...my opinion anyway.
