It isn't, though both might share common ancestors. > http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=89821 In the issue I said it's hard to judge which behavior is right, meanwhile I think that for a certain class of controls (and form controls as well as the SQL editor count in here), re-setting the selection when gaining the focus is a usability bug. I raised the target to 3.x.
