Howdy,

In a couple of other threads here, dealing with control sizes, I attached an example database.

Well, I thought it might be nice to continue to share.

You can find the latest file at
http://baseanswers.com/MyInvoice/MyInvoice_pre_5.odb

AGAIN - This is for OO.o3.1 development builds ONLY

I am having a dickens of a time getting forms that display equally well under XP and Ubuntu.
(It seems to be much harder with the application now)

To show it a bit more clearly I took a few screen shots
http://baseanswers.com/MyInvoice/pre_5_screens.odg

Starting to think that maybe I don't want to be playing around with the zoom factor at all?

However - screen navigation is coming along. For those brave souls that want to try.

Have added a few tables and some sample data...(still prototype stage)

Upon opening the database window is hidden.
The main Invoice List form displays.
Closing any of the MyInvoice top level forms (Invoice List, ItemEntry, InvoiceHead) 'should' bring the InvoiceList form back up on the desktop. Added a menu to the Invoice List form - View>Show DataBase Document - this does what it sounds like.
Added a button to the Invoice List form - Exit MyInvoice - which:
Should close all forms/queries/reports/dataview frames (including hidden frames) opened from the database
Close the database file and the connection with it...

Happy April,

Drew

ps - oh, yeah...14 days of the condor...I started this project 14 days ago. What you thought it ha some deep meaning?
