I know, I know...the subject seems to be 'Verbotten' (hmm did I spell
that right)....but what the hey.
A couple of days ago I had a chance to 'take a walk down memory lane'
with a long time friend.
I'll save us all from the details and cut to the heart of the matter -
the experience 'tweaked' some long lost memory and thanks to Google -
From the July 1992 Issue of Compute! magazine a review of Borland's
ObjectVison 2.0 by Tom Campbell:
"Borland originally downplayed the ability of ObjectVision 1.0 to create
databases, instead touting it as a front end for other database systems,
notably dBASE and Paradox. But as often happens with software, those
pesky users insisted on doing their own thing with it--and that turned
out to be custom application development."
*smile*...just thought I'd pass that along for whatever it's worth.
