Alright, well I suppose everyone knows by now that OO.o has a User
Experience group.
However, just in case you may have missed the goings on in that group -
and it will affect us all - they are currently calling for new OO.o UI
proposals. (Right now I believe there are at least 9 folks planning on
submitting proposals later this week)
From following along on the mailing lists there I have a couple of
.....opionions.
1) There are some very talented and bright individuals in the group.
2) They have a lot of energy at the moment.
3) Base [or any database front end tool] doesn't really seem to be on
any of the designers radar screen at the moment.
Hopefully folks from this project will find the time to review the
proposals as them become available and get involved in the discussions
the will ensue. I have no doubt what-so-ever that there will be some
interesting ideas coming out of the process.
