Hi Manolis,

I'm very excited about the new MySQL SDBC driver Beta 1. I tried in a Base application <http://freshmeat.net/projects/mypatients> and it worked without a glitch.

Glad to hear.

As the wiki says, the driver has 2 bugs in windows. My question is if it safe to use it in a production environment already. I run GNU/Linux and windows bugs doesn't concern me at all.

You won't get any other statement than this :)

I'm looking forward for the final release. Anyone knows when?

Thanks for the information. This is one of the best extensions so far. Maybe it shuld be part of the OpenOffice.org installation package.
