Howdy,

Just passing on a link that I thought folks here might (and I would say should) be interested in.

http://googleresearch.blogspot.com/2009/06/google-fusion-tables.html

Oh - so why did I say 'again' in the title - after all this is a brand new piece of technology. Well, yes and no...the implementation is brand new, maybe even some of the ideas (can't pretend to actually have a deep understanding of this google offering) but from a first read (Could not get the "tour" page to load for me using FF3/Ubuntu...hey it's Google, I bet it will load clean as a whistle when I try it under MS later. Then again maybe it's just a load problem.) this idea of third and fourth axis (as opposed to rows and columns only) is not new of course.

The idea of groups of collaborating individuals having real time editing of data points (a cell) again it's not new idea per se...but a really good job of implementing (read-easy to use) this could herald some interesting new applications.

@for those thinking about the new filter dialog:

Adios,
