I've downloaded the file myself and got 3,240,728 bytes. I also made a diff against the original. It's the same filesize, MD5 sum and content.
So, I think it's a false alarm.

Have you tried to download it again? When you have used an Internet proxy please try without it. Sometimes proxy server are serving broken files.
