Hi Rudolf, sorry for the delay in my response, too many stuff on my desk recently :\

That's true, in this first version, we didn't add any MySQL specific features to OOo, which means that the table designer is still not able to handle such backend-specific details. Care to submit an RFE in IssueZilla? > 2. The relationship window doesn't work right. Some relations are > "hidden" e.g. not shown even though they exist in MySQL. Hmm, cannot reproduce here. Which server version do you connect to? Would it be possible that you provide a (stripped) mysqldump of the tables (structure only) whose relationships are not shown? > 3. The relationship window is not updated when changes in the tables are > made e.g. fields are deleted or created or primary keys defined. Again, that's an issue of OOo itself, not of the connector, this appears no matter which back-end you work with. You might want to submit an issue for this, too (to my knowledge we don't have one, yet). Honestly, it would probably have a relative low priority, since (IMO) updating the underlying table structures while displaying the relation designer is a relatively rare use case in OOo. This doesn't mean it would never get fixed, it just means it might not be in the very next version.
