Could you please provides us more informations on the operating System and the OpenOffice.org version you are running plus the data format of the files you are trying to open? Do you know with which version of OOo those files that won't open are created? OOo 1.x, OOo 2.x or even older StarOffice versions? Especially when you are using the OpenOffice.org version that ships with your linux distribution it may be necessary to install a package often namend binfilter. This packages includes the old binary filters for OOo versions prior to OOo 1.0 and depending on your distro it may also be necessary to install the import filters for the 1.x OOo series. Since 2.0 the format hasn't changed that much so OOo should at least open files created with 2.x which doesn't mean that there are some bugs in the import filter. Unless you provide us more informations we can only guess what your problem is. Now in german. Kannst Du uns bitte mitteilen, welches Betriebssystem und welche Version von OpenOffice.org du einsetzt? Hilfreich wäre es auch zu wissen, welches Format die Dateien haben, die sich Probleme beim Öffnen haben. Sind sie mit OOo 1.x oder 2.x erstellt oder sogar noch mit Staroffice? Unter Linux muss, gerade dann, wenn Du die Version benutzt die mit deiner Distribution kommt, oft noch ein Paket installiert werden, dass die binfilter, sprich die alten propritären Formate von StarOffice, nachinstalliert. Yum, Yast, apt, welcher Paketmanager auch immer, sollte das entsprechende Paket finden, oftmals hat es sogar binfilter im Namen. Bei Debian ab Lenny und in Etch Backports heißt es so z.B. openoffice.org-filter-binfilter, während es unter Etch noch openoffice.org-filter-so52 läuft. Seit der 2.0 hat sich das Dokumentenformat jetzt nicht mehr so sehr geändert, was natürlich nicht heißt, dass keine Fehler in den Importfiltern gibt, doch zumindest öffnen lassen sollten sich die 2.x Dokumente in der 3.0. Ohne weitere Informationen, wo genau das Problem liegt, kommen wir hier nicht über das Stadium des Ratens, was denn nun dein Problem genau sein könnte hinaus.
