sorry, my ENGLISH is not very good ;-)
OOO under XP-Pro worked fine everytime.
Now I use an old laptop with XP Home. I installed OOO 2.4 -> no problems.
To use the excellent presentation-tool I have installed version 3.1.1 (2.4
deinst before.)
Under WRITER I could (can) not save any document (OOO hangs then).
OOO Portable 3.0.1 does the same! Try again at XP-Pro-PC -> works fine!
Now I can see a file named ".~lock.[name of the file I wanted to save].odt#.
In this file you can see the name of pc, user, date / time and the folder
.../Anwendungsdaten/OpenOffice.org/3 ("Anwendungsdaten" means "application
data" or somethimg else...)
Who can help?
Don't know if this information is important, but I changed (forbid) the
admin-rights one time, but now it's with admin rights again.

Es wurde eine Datei namens ".~lock.[Name der zu speichernden Datei].odt#
erzeugt.
In dieser Datei findet man die Bezeichnung des Gerät, des users, Datum und
Uhrzeit und den Ordner .../Anwendungsdaten/OpenOffice.org/3
Wer kann helfen?
Weiß nicht, ob das damit zu tun haben könnte, aber ich hatte kurz das Konto
eingeschränkt.
