This is a little bit strange. When I try to execute /etc/apacheds-1.5.7/bin/apacheds I get the following error bash: /etc/apacheds-1.5.7/bin/apacheds: No such file or directory
In the following blog http://muthulee.blogspot.com/2009/09/installing-apacheds-on-unbuntu.html I was reading on how to install apacheds. In the end the lady says sth. about a problem that seems to be similar, but I don't understand what she means. [blog] ... Initially when I tried to install, I faced the following problem since the start-up script was renamed to "apacheds-1.5.5-default". This trivial information was lacking in the "Apache DS Basic User Guide". /etc/init.d/apacheds: No such file or directory ...
