Hi Jim, That was a bug of versions 2.0 M1 and M2. The issue has been reported and fixed : DIRSTUDIO-771 (Searches are not saved when closing Studio 2.0 M1/M2) [1].
A vote for the 2.0 M3 version will probably be launched on Monday, so it could be out by the end of the week. Sorry for the inconvenience.
