You can treat it as a normal upgrade - switch to downloading 3.4 source, and then proceed normally. I'm... pretty sure that will work.
The 3.6/x86_64 packages were updated, as far as I know, for the recent changes. Are you on i386? I don't know if the 3.6/i386 packages are newer.
