this line suggest empty file.
As every write to /var/spool/mqueue is fsync'ed by sendmail it suggest
hardware problem like hard drive not executed flush command and then power
failure, or maybe hardware RAID with battery backed memory with battery
backup failed.
there may be other reasons.
