Sure, can you tell me what is the port it belongs to? Or is it the /usr/local/libexec/upowerd of sysutils/upower that you mean? It used to core dump but now (or at least so far) it's running fine with the mate desktop I'm using. I don't have a kde4 desktop on this machine but will get it next week so I can see if it's working with kde4 as well (or if someone has it and can test). Peeter --
