Hello, I've been really considering using DragonFly BSD on the desktop. However, my PC has an RX 580 graphics card. I see that DragonFly has recently gotten support for amdgpu but in the past release since I haven't managed to actually get it to work. I have only gotten modesetting to work, in which case there would be no hardware acceleration which isn't ideal for a desktop.
Is it possible to get hardware acceleration with the amdgpu driver, and how does one activate it in the first place (I cannot find anything equivalent to drm-kmod on DragonFly)?
