Dear colleagues, we are pleased to announce that an Einstein Toolkit workshop will take place this summer in Stockholm, immediately preceding the MICRA conference.
The workshop aims to be an opportunity for current users and developers to report on recent progress in the Toolkit (including, but not limited to, new components), to express interests in future development, and to draw up a plan (collaborative as well as financial) to make sure this development takes place. The preliminary program includes the following topics: * August 11 (afternoon): Introduction to the Einstein Toolkit (including tutorial for new users) * August 12: Current developments in the Einstein Toolkit and related areas * August 13: Future developments in the The Einstein Toolkit * August 14 (morning): EU funding opportunities for building an European ET network Notice that this meeting will involve a few talks and status reports but will focus primarily on open discussions and planning.
