Hi,

Which parameter file are you editing?  If it is the one INSIDE the simulation 
output directory, then this will not work, because this is never read, only 
written.  Are you using simfactory?  If so, then I usually just edit the 
parameter file in <simulation>/SIMFACTORY/par then submit the next segment.
