Hello David, the WaveMoL examples will do that.
You can run its example parameter file like so: simfactory/bin/sim create-run gaussian --parfile arrangements/CactusExamples/WaveMoL/par/gaussian.par --procs 1 which will generate output files phi_x_[25][25].xg etc. You can use gnuplot, matplotlib or pygraph (https://bitbucket.org/dradice/pygraph/src/default/) to display them.
