Yes, this is specifically about matching dependencies and
embedding them into the resulting bundle JAR file...it is not
intended to explode them into the resulting bundle, but to
embed them, since people wanted this type of behavior from
the old plugin.
Will that also cover point 2 in my other e-mail? About not needing to
specify exclusions when the packaging is set to bundle on a dependency?
