Another point: I am confused to see different version values in
pom.xml? In my recently checked out workspace from trunk, I find
following version values in different poms:
<version>1.0.3-SNAPSHOT</version> in poms/pom.xml,
<version>1.1.0-SNAPSHOT</version> in framework/pom.xml,
framework/pom.xml refers to parent pom with version=1.0.1
May be, there is a good reason to do this, but it is very confusing, IMO.
Ultimately, there is no "good" reason other than we did not originally
set a policy on it, so there has been some differences among
subprojects. However, I think in the future, subprojects will only
depend on released versions, unless they actually need the features of
an unreleased version.
So hopefully some of this will be fixed in the next release cycle of the
subprojects. Sorry.
