Sure, it would be possible, but the issue is keeping shell.tui simple and not dependent upon new Java features. What is the license of jline? How big is it? If it were really small and didn't pose any issues, I wouldn't be against someone patching shell tui to use it.

Hi,

Just my 5 cents, but I think it should be easy to integrate jline in felix
shell tui. With a little work, tab completion is also possible.
Unfortunately (at least for me) it seems that jline doesn't work in eclipse
console.

Yes, the up-arrow behavior comes from Windows itself, not Java, so there
isn't much we can do about that.

Hi,

Apologies if this has been asked before, I couldn't find anything in
the archives.

On windows when using the felix tui I can up-arrow to get the previous
command. On linux this doesn't work (I get ^[[A).
Is there a way of getting readline style behaviour in the tui when
running under linux?

Thanks...Steve
