Hi,
In fact, for the time being our OBR is not "self-contained", in the
sense that one requirement of the web console cannot be resolved. This
comes from the unavailability of the HTTP Service. The Felix
implementation of the HTTP Service is not release yet, so is not in
the OBR. Normally, it is the only "unresolvable" bundle.
So, any other bundles can be deployed directly. For example, if you
deploy iPOJO Arch command (or any iPOJO powered bundles) it will
deploy the iPOJO runtime too:
> obr start "Apache Felix iPOJO Arch Command"
Target resource(s):
-------------------
Apache Felix iPOJO Arch Command (1.2.0)
Required resource(s):
---------------------
Apache Felix iPOJO (1.2.0)
Deploying...
done.
To deploy the web console, you have to deploy the HTTP Service first
manually (yes, using OBR in this case does not really make sense :-():

org.osgi.compendium/target/org.osgi.compendium-1.3.0-SNAPSHOT.jar

org.apache.felix.http.jetty-0.9.0-SNAPSHOT.jar
> obr start "Apache Felix Web Management Console"
Target resource(s):
-------------------
Apache Felix Web Management Console (1.2.8)
Required resource(s):
---------------------
Apache Felix Declarative Services (1.0.6)

As I understand OBR it should be able to resolve bundle
dependencies. The
documentation says
obr start [-nodeps] <bundle-name>[;<version>] ...
This command installs and starts the specified bundles and all of
their
dependencies by default
I have a running felix with these bundles
-> ps
START LEVEL 1
ID State Level Name
[ 0] [Active ] [ 0] System Bundle (1.5.0.SNAPSHOT)
[ 1] [Active ] [ 1] Apache Felix Shell Service
(1.1.0.SNAPSHOT)
[ 2] [Active ] [ 1] Apache Felix Shell TUI (1.1.0.SNAPSHOT)
[ 3] [Active ] [ 1] Apache Felix Bundle Repository
(1.3.0.SNAPSHOT)
-> obr list-url
http://felix.apache.org/obr/releases.xml
Now I want to install the webconsole. The bundle is called
org.apache.felix.webconsole
-> obr start org.apache.felix.webconsole
Unsatisfied requirement(s):
---------------------------
(service=org.osgi.service.http.HttpService)
Apache Felix Web Management Console
What did I get wrong here? Is there a place where I can find a working
example of using obr?
