Something else we just noticed with the docs & annotations, if metatype is not specified, it defaults to false (docs are correct) but the description in the docs is misleading. It appears to have been copied from the JavaDoc bit. Also, what caused the default to be changed from true to false?
Currently: "Whether Metatype Service data is generated or not. If this parameter is not set or set to true Metatype Service data is generated in the metatype.xml file for this component. Otherwise no Metatype Service data is generated for this component." Should be something like: "Whether Metatype Service data is generated or not. If this parameter set to true, Metatype Service data is generated in the metatype.xml file for this component. Otherwise no Metatype Service data is generated for this component." ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carsten Ziegeler" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, August 13, 2009 4:51:12 AM GMT -05:00 US/Canada Eastern Subject: Re: QDox vs. Annotations Carl F.
