Install Object as bundle

Is it possible to install an object as a bundle without first  
packaging it as a jar? The closest I've been able to find is adding  
activators to the system bundle via  
FelixConstants.SYSTEMBUNDLE_ACTIVATORS_PROP. Is there a better way?
