Hi Chetan

I tried it but some settings are confusing me eg. the Manifest.MF on [1] open the bracket with [ and close it with ). The whole line(s) are not common in a Manifest.MF, i just found that the Import-Package defines what to include, not which version, and not what provider or a mandatory field. And yes they use log4j as backend.

I never had to deal with the Config Admin so i dont know what i have to change where. I do not use Felix WebConsole, i just want to use the regular felix distribution which is shipped in Netbeans for developing. Thats why a simple example would be really nice.

Regards,
Oli

Hi Oliver,

Looking at Pax Logging guide [1] it appears that they use Log4j as the
logging backend. The configuration is done through Config Admin and as
explained in [2] you would need to specify the path to log4j config file
(properties or xml). So if you are using Felix WebConsole then these
setting must be avialable under the Configuration tab
