Gang:

I am trying to use Felix File Install (3.4.0) with Felix 4.4.1 and I'm seeing
some behavior that I don't understand. I have a few bundles that
seem to be perfectly workable bundles, as in, I can install them
from the Gogo shell using install file:///path/to/bundle.jar and start
them, see services registered, etc.

But if I drop the same bundle in my "deploy" directory with the
File Install watching it, it does not get deployed. However, if
I drop a different bundle in there (for example, one of the
other Felix sub-project bundles) it installs fine.

Does anybody know offhand any obvious reason that it would
work for some bundles but not others? Here's the
content of my MANIFEST.MF from one of the bundles
in question, FWIW:

Manifest-Version: 1.0
Export-Package: org.example.osgi6a, org.example.osgi6a.impl
Bundle-Vendor: Fogbeam
Bundle-Version: 1.0.0
Bundle-Name: OSGI6a
Bundle-Activator: org.example.osgi6a.SayHelloServiceActivator
Bundle-Description: A bundle for a Service to display "Hello World" me
 ssages
Import-Package: org.osgi.framework

Thanks,

Phil
