Thanks a ton for the link and the exhaustive metrics there in, but what do you 
mean by "own automation - implementation for Custom Components" (we have a lot 
of custom components) ,
Also  do you have any doc which says we can do some extensibility kind of thing 
which can make make any execution faster, is there any way that we can do a 
custom coding in flex builder which can create a dll/jar which can expose 
methods which we can use through QTP VBScript...

But to answer your original question it is sometimes good to implement your own 
automation-implementation for custom components, if the defaults don't work 
correctly or don't work. But creating custom automation components trends to be 
quite challenging.
