I had a scenario like this once.  Somehow the AIR zip file was corrupted.  I 
wish I remembered the details because I think I had to clear a browser or maybe 
an AIR download cache or something like that.

Is it possible to grab the log?  Or is it completely frozen?  Perhaps you
could open the log window and keep it open and observe it?  You could
perhaps take a screenshot after it has frozen.
