Ok, I thought someone (maybe Adobe or anybody else) already have a working 
indexed list.

And is willing to donate this to Flex. So we don't have to invest our time in 
developing this
component, when this already exists.

I think I will take a look how List / ListBase internally works and I maybe try 
to developing
such a list. I have to look which component should be extended (List or 
ListBase).

Of course any help is appreciated. ;-)
