Hello I continued with this all yesterday and still can't get the flv file to play. I have now moved the flv file into the src folder alongside the mxml application file (to eliminate any possible path errors). The folder containing the Release Build has the html file, swf file and flv file all together.
If I double-click the generated html file in the Release Build folder, as exported from Flash Builder, it runs fine. If I move the Release Build folder to another location on my Mac and then view the html file the flv file does not display. I now display the MediaPlayerState which reads 'playbackError' once the Release Build folder has been moved. Very curious! I must be missing something very simple, but I can't see it.
