I am trying developing on vmware player 6.0 with Windows 8.1 64 and FB 4.7 64. I am using my workspace from the host system, but Flex SDks and other FB stuff are installed on a guest system. It basically works except I am getting a very poor FB performance. Specifically, after code is modified it would take a very long time to get thru "building workspace" at 41 percent. Then it will take much longer to get thru "Launching ...". I have plenty of memory allocated for guest system and I have configured FB to use 2 G of memory. I have also configured VM to use 4 processors. Is there anything that could improve FB performance?
