custom ${variable} in index.template.html possible (eclipse)?

Hi list,

Is it possible to setup a custom variable ${variable} for the 
index.template.html in eclipse? Maybe in the compiler options in the properties 
window of my flex project? Or better in my index.mxml file. Where are all the 
other ${variables} set?
