I remember already run into similar issue before: monkey-patched SDK class with the same name and package that was lingering in the code. I can't remember exactly, but I think I also had this "class cannot be found" error. The ActionScriptSkinBase definition appears to be in the SWF, and even if he had a custom out-of-date definition, it is hard for me to believe that it would result in this kind of error.
