I tried this code with Flex SDK 4.14.0 and I can confirm the
application freezes ("Not responding" in Windows).

The smallest amount of code that reproduces the bug is here[1]

Note that this[2] does NOT reproduce it.

Ulrich, could you report this in Apache Flex Jira[3]?
