Well if you ask me, I'd surely suggest to go the maven path, but that's my opinion. If you ask most people here on the list they will probably say that Ant is the solution for everything ;-) You only have to mavenize once and the only thing taking a while is deploying the generated artifacts to your companies maven repo.
Ant Indeed is very flexible, but it doesn't prevent you from creating unmaintainable builds. I guess I am extremely biassed, as in my day-job I mainly help migrate large projects from Ant to Maven. Usually companies don't hire me for migrating a nicely setup Ant, but a catastrophically crappy build. So I usually am confronted with the worst of the worst builds. I don't quite understand why you need global variables in the generated Testrunner. You should be able to initialize these in another class and simply use these in the tests. The testrunner usually should contain only a reference to the test classes you want to run your tests against. Chris ________________________________________ Von: Raj U.
