I just added one more change to the mavenizer to produce a standalone maven deployer version too.
Also I re-checked the documentation in our Wiki and fixed a few things. Feel free to give it another try. The problem is that you checked out the old version. The new version is in the develop branch. As soon as the mavenizer is officially released, master will contain the updated version.
