Thanks for responding Alex. First and foremost to me is meeting face to face with people on the team to hear first-hand about what they have worked on and what they are really looking forward to doing in the future with Apache Flex. I can read about things on web pages all day, but hearing a real person (live or even on a video) involved with the project talking about the state of the project and the plans for its future would go a long way. I am also very interested in the Apache FlexJS project and would love to get more details on the vision for such an intriguing project.

I’m saving my limited travel budget for more client-side-oriented conferences. ApacheCon seems to have a main theme of backend and big data technologies. Question for you and everyone else on this list: Would it be valuable to have some sort of Flex-oriented event/meeting/summit/conference this year? What kind of content would make it worthwhile? Or is just the face-to-face aspect of it the key? -Alex On 3/5/15, 7:45 AM, "ksa...@loftware.com" <ksa...@loftware.com> wrote: >I was curious if any of the Apache Flex committers are planning on >attending ApacheCon 2015 in April.
